I cant believe nearly 6 months after release I still cant walk into my local Game or high street store and not pick up an xbox premium pack of the shelf, i know my local Game have a few but they only sell in 2 game packages and the bundled games are really poor such as King Kong and Gun which in total costs around ?350, i have just pre-ordered Elder Scrolls in the hope i can get my hands on one. Is anyone else having much luck?

Just looking at the order sheets, I can see over 100 units were delivered last week to the ChoicesUK stores, and similarly the week before. The thing is they sell out as soon as they're put on the shelves, so if you want a premium pack, you're going to need to put your name down on a list.
They are out there, and the replens are done regularly. -
Gameplay have premiums and cores - and plenty of them at this very minute.

if your game has it in stock, you CAN buy it on its own.
this was stated by headoffice via email to all stores a month or so back that you can sell them individually.Managers just just dont like doing it.

Ive noticed that every HMV ive seen in the past few weeks has the core and premium packs but as part of a games package
In fact i even noticed in EK HMV yesterday the dude was trying to bundle xbox games with it lolComment

Swindon Gamestation had shop floor Cores and Premiums available last week, I didn't notice if they were part of bundles or not though.Comment

You can check your local Argos store's availability through the Argos website and assuming they have stock reserve one for collection.

The games stores i have tried are the one in Fareham which does not have any of either pack but the 2 stores in Portsmouth are only selling the premium pack as a bundle and they wont sell them alone or even with different games. I have tried looking on argos website and have looked at all branches in the area as far as Southampton, i may try and get one of ebay as they are pretty much street price give or take a tenner, just cant belive after this much time you still need to pre-order to get one, i thought once xmas was out of way it would be much easier come March to get hold of one. My local Tesco seems to have one in now and then i will have to check every night

You'd be much safer ordering one from Gameplay rather than running the risk of buying from ebay.
They've currently got premium packs in stock & they're not forcing you to take a bundle of games you'll probably never play (King Kong anyone?)
