360 HD discrepencies.

Hello,
I'm running my 360 on a 26" Samsung HD set via component and there appears to be a problem with the image. Whenever there is a lot going on on screen a horizontal line shoots from the bottom of the screen to the middle, blurring and disrupting the image briefly. I don't believe it is a disc problem as it occurs randomly. It makes FPSs impossible due to the amount of movement involved and is highly off putting in DOA 4, ruining my otherwise godly countering skills . Is there something wrong with my set or system?

sounds like tearing to me,are you running 720p or 1080i?
samsungs like yours had a problem with running NTSC sources which would cause a line to appear horizontally,it was fixed with a firmware update.
see if the probelm persists when running the box in 1080i @ 60hz.

I'm running 720p. I'll have a crack at 1080i but don't believe my TV supports it(but I know bugger all). Thanks analog.

what is the model?
Ive got the le3251bdx and that supports 1080i over vga and component,
i presumed for some reason that you were talking about the 26inch version of that one,is it like the demo pods?
