Playing R1 DVDs on a PAL PS2 with Messiah 2 - How?

did the boot method with ym US PS1 games fine which im told boots up DVDs however i try to boot up my R1 Chasing Amy DVD using the same method and it comes up this DVD cannot be play due to region restrictions, any help appreciated here plz guys

According to the instructions i got with my Messiah'd PAL PS2:

"You will need to purchase a DVD Region X or similar product should you wish to play DVD movies from other regions."

Yup!

The Messiah 2 only enables your PS2 to play games from other regions, not movies.
