Yes, fully english, with the dark Aeons/ international sphere grid etc

Also i remember reading something missing from the PAL version that the JPN International had... can't remember what it was - unless i'm mistaken.

Hmm strange...

From what i can remember:

1st menu:
select your sphere grid type
- original sphere grid
- international sphere grid

2nd menu:
are you sure?
- yes
- no

3rd menu:
language select:
- Japanese
- English

This is the perfect import. It's fully in English (although I'd prefer the voice acting to be in the original Japanese) and it plays in NTSC unlike the PAL version. I got this recently because of the full screen. I would suggest getting this if you like Final Fantasy although it still has an expensive price tag for an older title. Get it while there are still new ones available.

Couldn't agree more with danholo. This would have been great with japanese voice and english subtitles!

I'm pretty sure there is also an FFX-2 International but that there isn't an English language option.

The Japanese version comes with the bonus disk and has an option for either Japanese or English text. The Asian version comes without the bonus disk and is in English only.

There's an added FMV sequence when you complete the game which apparently wasn't in the PAL version. It was later included on a bonus disk that came with the PAL Unlimited Saga.

It's "Another Story" - The FFX-2 back story which sets up the premise of yuna going sphere hunting. it's a good 20-30 mins and is all rendered in the game engine iirc

So what happens in the original non International ending?

I played the Asian International release and tbh I wasn't sure if had the FFX2 back story as an extra.

Afaik the endings are the same in both versions - maybe excepting some minor localisatioin differences that may be there (i'm going by the US vs Pal discs as reference having finished each version once ). Another story is a extra on the International bonus disc and doesnt really follow on from the ending (its 2 years after)

They should have included it with the pal FFX-2 rather then Unlimited saga

Basically the additional ending is only available on the Jap (Not korean) version that has the additional disc.

It's called Another Story and is on the Additional Disc but unfortunatly, unlike the core game, doesn't have an option to change language and all the "Another Story" is fully in Jap with no English subtitles
