    NTSC Reverse Importing?

I live in America, where we have NTSC (and TVs are *not* dual standard), but I know that some European games have a 60 hz mode and will run in 60 hz NTSC on a (modded) American machine. (I have a PS2 and Dreamcast) This makes them possible imports.

So far, the only game of this type I have is Shenmue II (which even autodetects the NTSC).

So which games might I want to buy as 60 hz imports from Europe? There are two categories:
    1) games that are censored or over-adapted in America, but better in Europe (i.e. KOF: MI European has the original voices. Does it have 60 hz?)
    2) games not released at all in America. In particular, Sony USA hates 2D games and we don't get many budget games. (Which makes 505 Gamestreet seem appealing, since they have 60 hz and a large 2d/budget line)

Also, where's a good place to buy them cheaply? Amazon UK won't ship games to America (and I don't remember where I got the Shenmue II from).

I think CD do international shipping

Don't click on the US site otherwise it'll take you to the US section.

I know both Gameplay and GAME used to ship worldwide. I'm not sure if they still do. Gameplay used to knock off the VAT too thus saving you 15% on the price which was nice.

Gregory Horror Show springs to mind and yes it has a 60Hz mode.

Re games with 60hz modes. Pretty much all Sega, Capcom and Konami games from the past few years will have the option present. Also all the SNK games which were released by a small budget publisher have the option. There are exceptions though so be careful.

I don't think Vib Ribbon was released in the US. Might be PAL only though - not sure if it featured a 60hz mode (ages since I last played it).

              It's a PSOne game so no it doesn't have a 60hz mode.

What is "GAME"? (Needless to say, I'm not going to be able to Google that name.)

(And neither CD Now nor Gameplay had any of the 505 Gamestreet games I looked for.)

                    www.game.net Britain (& I think Europe's) largest games retailer.

They used to be called Electronics Boutique and I think until recently they were part of the EB group.
