memory cards - a question

Hi chaps - i am just wondering, when you play imports on a ps2 do you need a memory card from the same region as the game? In other words would a PAL memory card be able to save games from a NTSC game? Did a search but couldnt find anything. ty in advance

Hi there,

You'l be fine with a PAL memory card. Don't worry you can combine the saves too, ie, the same memory card can have save games from jpn, usa AND pal regions.

The only console that has a problem with that is the Gamecube, so I think you'll be just fine. I've never done it myself though (don't have NTSC ps2 games)

I've got UK, US and JP saves all on my one PS2 memory card, and it's not died (yet. Bet I've jinxed it now).
