Just got a GBA Micro - Suggest some games for me

Andf some good cheap places to buy them.

Another thing, the gba micro box was not sealed, you know like the seal you get on a psp/ps2 box, is this normal?

Castlevania : Circle of the moon (perhaps my favourite gba game or atleast in top 3)
Castlevania double pack, mainly for aria,
      Super mario advances,
      A link to the past,
      Minish Cap,
      Astro Boy,
      Golden sun,
      Contra advance,
      Klonoa,
      Metal slug advance.

Ebay can be ok for gba obviously you need to avoid fakes if you can, for a lot of gba games i have found to just advertise here in wanted and usually someone will come along and help, i've probably missed loads off games of that list, but there are tons and tons of gba games worth playing.

Mario vs Donkey Kong is a very good "action-puzzler" with nice graphics. Absolutely recommended!

Iridion II is a vertical shooter with online ranking and great retro tunes. Unfortunately, it appears the online ranking has stopped now - but still a good shooter nontheless. (Nanostray on the Nintendo DS is the successor)

If you go shopping on eBay for GBA games take a look at this thread, so you know what to look out for.

I'd also recommend Kuru Kuru Kururin, a great little action-puzzle game. You can find a review on this site.

DEFINITELY get Minish Cap -- it's fantastic both for the platform and in general. Also consider the very (very!) funny Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.

Seconded on the Kuru Kuru Kururin recommendation. Splendid little game. I wonder which ex-writer penned that fantastic review

Mr Driller 2 is also well worth a look.

Ninja Cop/Ninja Five-0 is awesomely good, but also utterly hair-pullingly hard.

Guru Logic Champ is as good a logic puzzler as you'll find.

If you like Turn based strategy then the GBA is really an absolute gem of a console. Still the king of the handhelds in my view. The range of turn based strategies is unsurpassed on any handheld thus far, and classsic games ranging from Advance wars 1 & 2 to Fire Emblems, to Final Fantasy tactics Advance, through to Tactics Ogre, 6 Super robot Wars games, then there's Shining Force:Resurrection, then keeping up the rear there's the ok Rebelstar tactical command and Z.O.E: Fist of Mars.

The GBA really is the spiritual home for Handheld Turnbased Strategy, TRPG or SimulationRPG or whatever the hell peolple want to name them. Plus there's the fact of it being region enabled which means absolutely no excuse not to import. The only downer for me with the micro GBA is no GB games backwards compatability. Its in my top three favourite consoles is the GBA and the Ds has got a lot of catching up to do if it ever wants to be as good as the GBA for these types of game.

Just had a browse through my collection and these are a few of the best:

                  Metroid Fusion
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
                  Astro Boy: Omega Factor
                  Gunstar Future Heroes
                  Pok?mon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire
                  Mario Power Tennis
                  Mario vs. Donkey Kong
                  Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
                  Castlevania Double Pack
Advance Wars 2 Black Hole Rising
                  Final Fight One
                  F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi?s Island
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3

There is such a vast back catalogue available for the GBA/Micro, you are bound to find something that takes your fancy.

My Famicom Micro wasn't sealed when it arrived from YesAsia last year...

if you like RPGs, you NEED to get yourself the recently released Final Fantasy IV.

The only RPG you never need (for many many hours at least! )

This is a pretty good buy, if only for the hard case and USB charger.
