PSP Square Button Loose ?

Hey guys just got a PSP however is it just me or is the Square button looser then the other buttons and i can also see a little metal bar down the gap at the side of the square button. Is this looseness normal as it is noticably different to the other buttons.

Have you got a jap psp by any chance? One of the earlier ones?

If so there was a manufacturing defect with them, it's documented somewhere i think

Some of the early UK ones had the same issue too, remember taking the piss outta our PSP display model, you could see a wee metal bar through the button and the square really did feel like it wasnt gonna work at all.
It did though.

It was an issue with the first wave of US PSP's too. I had mine since just after US launch and although I avoided the dead pixels problem, have a wonky square button.

Never really bothered me too much mind.
