Can I use a 220V/110V stepdown on a japanese AES console?
Someone mentioned to me before I could use my Megadrive PSU, but it doesn't fit.

I use a standard MD psu and it works fine....
It must be a MD 1 psu tho, a MD 2 psu has a different end.
I've never tried using a stepdown.... -
I use a stepdown and JPN PSU for mine. MD1 PSU also works.Comment

The Neo Geo does technically use 5V at 2Amps or 9V at 1.2Amps... the older one uses 5V, which although does work with 9V, it does make the regulator quite hot...Comment

Just buy a regular power supply from an electric shop depending on your input. That's what I did when my the cable on my original p-supply went loose.
It felt so good to be playing KOF'97 again after a couple of hours of downtime.
Then I sold my collection to afford a new Gibson Les Paul which I still regret.Comment
