Anyone know of a site that breaks down the technical details for each ps2 game... i.e. whether it supports 480p, has dolby pro logic 2, 16:9 etc? Looking especially for info on DMC3: Special Edition and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. Cheers.

For some reason they've dropped their old database format in favour of forums, but you can find info on most games in there.

Gamespot also has it.
Go to a game's summary tab and you'll see a tiny link near the release date, developer info, etc that says Tech Info. More often than not, it'll say whether prog scan, online features, etc are supported.
Here's God of War's, for example, which says Resolution 480p.
I've just checked Outrun Coast 2 Coast's page and it doesn't say though, so it's a bit hit and miss.
As the PS2 is from a time when progressive scan and hi-def weren't the buzzwords they've become, you're more likely to find this sort of information for games on consoles from Gamecube/XBox onwards.Last edited by vertigo; 14-04-2006, 13:39.Comment
