Samsung TV for 360

I am already resigned to the fact Samsung are not great, but its all I could afford and still be reasonable quality. So I have ordered one, although I will take the advice of others here and buy a vga cable instead of the hi-def cable.

I use a samsung LE32R51BD with our 360 and i output high def content from the pc via vga as well

And im very impressed with it. I know people have mentioned the poor SD quality but I find the digitial tuner improves the picture dramatically

I don't have a problem with my PS2 through component on my LE26R41B. Even in 480i games I'd put it on a similar level to a SCART connection on a standard TV. Maybe that's just me, though.

But yeah, the Samsungs are decent for my purposes (I use it in my bedroom) but if you want a really great one for a living room there are better ones to go for. When I move out I intend to use this one in my bedroom and buy a nicer 37" or 42" for my main TV.

I used to have a samsung and for the price you can`t really moan about there performance. Only downsides imo is the green push on the colour side of things and the lack of adjustable backlight.

Hmm now I'm starting to have second thoughts about the Samsung. Which LG model is the one to look for?

The LG TV that Myself, Shakey and a few others here have is the 26LX2R

It's a good 'un

PC output over DVI is insane awesome, It's a great LCD TV. My only complaint with it is that Blacks often look a bit Grey.

RGB input is def decent enough.

Oblivion 360 via VGA (better that 360 over component Truefax!)

The TV is also available in 32" (32LX2R). I've read that the LX2R series are the ones to go for. other cheaper LG LCD's are meant to be a bit ****.
