Does anyone know of an archive or a good site with lots of backgrounds ripped from games? I realise it can be (painstakingly) done with emulators by removing the sprite layers, and I've found a few on sites like the game sprite archive, but I seem to remember there being a site with loads.
Things like levels of Super Mario Bros, Sonic, fighting game backgrounds. That sort of thing.
