I am a dunce when it comes to 480p, 720p and 1080p, so could someone kindly tell me how to change from 480p to either 720 or 1080i.

I have a JVC LCD flatscreen (not HD ready) and i wondered if i change it on the TV settings or somewhere on my xbox (or if i can do it at all).

Sorry for being such a Noob.

                  Cheers Fellahs

It's changed on the machine. The machine itself outputs in whatever screen mode you tell it to.

Are you talking about the 360 or original XBox?

Im ok now. I done it last night. changed from 480p to 720p.

i cant believe i hadnt done this before. it makes the graphics noticeably sharper

I should hope so. It is three times the resolution, after all
