Paper Mario 2 - what's at the bottom of the 'well'?

I know I'm behind the times but I'm currently playing through Paper Mario 2. There's a bit in it where you have to go down through loads of levels fighting countless enemies and every 10 levels or so you find a treasure chest with something cool inside. I know you can skip through some levels but it still takes ages. I've been as far as level 60 but died and therefore wasted a few hours work. Without giving it away, can someone tell me if what is at the bottom is worth the effort?

A realllllllllllllyyyy hard boss, it's another one of those dragons and i think all you get for beating it is a badge, well that and a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Probably at least one hour, what ever you do don't take the boss lighty and use the badge that stops you from getting poisioned, also make sure you get them "stylish" moves in
