Wireless advice needed PLEASE

Sorry if this post is in the wrong forum ....

But please can someone help us out , me other half is going bonkers here !!!
Just brought a new laptop and a BT voyager wireless router ....
The laptop only sometimes picks up the router signal and when it does we seem to get half of our homepage up before the connection gets lost ..

Sorry for the lack of technical gubbins talk but any help would be really appreciated before the other half explodes

Oh and its a Dell laptop with built in wireless gubbins that we are trying to connect to if that makes any difference

Have you got any other wireless devices you can try with it?

Have you connected to it with an ethernet,to see if your adsl is actually on?

what's your signal stength like?

Try disabling your firewall and try again.

All sorted now cheers guys , it was such a stupid hiccup not having the correct chanels selected or something . Had my first ever taster of online DS pleasure today
