    NTSC or PAL Halo?

Which English version is better? NTSC or PAL?

Other than 50 or 60Hz, they're pretty much the same.

Pal version is full screen, optimised 50Hz. You can run it in PAL 60, but with noticable frame skipping over the US version.

I guess if you're used to 60Hz games the US version will seem more fluid

Oh, and there is the consideration of playing online, which only works properly with people running the same refresh rate as you from what I've heard.

The PAL version is a teensy bit smoother, but you'll have to switch it to 50Hz mode to enjoy the benefit. PAL Halo in 60Hz is nasty and jerky.

There's little in it really, and I'd rather keep my Xbox in 60Hz mode and play the US rev than having to keep changing the refresh.

Stick with NTSC. You know it's the right thing.

NTSC Version. But it's got to be played on a US Xbox (or a PAL Xbox with the Dashboard changed to US).

It's way faster, but it's not as sharp, not as many scan lines you see.

Going back to the PAL version after playing the NTSC version makes it seem S..L..O..W.

This is most evident in mutliplayer mode
