    Moving To Japan

Basically, I'm moving to Japan and wondered if anyone here knew of any problems i might face using a UK PS2 over there. and are the simple/cheap solutions to these problems or should I just get a japanese PS2 (bearing in mind I don't speak japanese and also want to play 'the warriors', which doesn't seem to be available there)

As far as I know, you will need a step-UP converter (since Japan is 110V) and a PAL-compatible TV. Sorry I can't help you more.

getting a pal compatible tv is the painful part - you`ll have to either get that or a signal convertor. Either way, this will work out expensive.

in this case, the best thing to do is to sell your PS2 and get a US Ps2 when you get here (which run for about 24,000 or so) then pick up the Warriors or whatever tickles your fancy.

There are a lot of US import stores in Aki, but not sure about the rest of Japan to be honest.

I would get rid of the PAL stuff and stick wiith consoles that support NTSC Japan and USA. Some Japanese games have international version which mean english language support. ie Tekken 5
