Google not loading up

I have had a nightmare of a time after moving house and not being able to set up my BB connection.So much so that I have to use 56k dial up

The final straw is that google refuses to load up now.I had it set up personalised as my homepage but even if I type in the address it just sits there.No other sites do it to me.

Im on Tiscali (any port and all that) and have gone into the control panel and changed the home page setting off of Tiscali.

Am I missing something dead obvious?Please help me.

I take it other pages are fine then - can you ping Google, try CMD and PING WWW.GOOGLE.CO.UK and also try both .COM and .CO.UK addresses. Also do the usual stuff like clearing Temp Internet files, and cookies, and if you really can be arsed download firefox and try that to see if its only related to IE.

The ping for both .com and .co.uk came back fine.I have cleared the usual stuff but still no joy.I am running Firefox so its not that.

Will try loading up IE and see if it still happens.
