US USC DS Connector on PC

I can't find a USB DS dongle anywhere in the UK so was planning on getting a US one. Will it work ok on my PC? And will it be compatible with my Jap DS?

Same the world over from what I gather.
Friend picked one up in Japan and it works fine.

^ well he`s in Japan as hes a teacher out there, he has a uk laptop which he has the dongle on - play alot of mario kart with him and not had any connection problems.

Have you had a look in Gamestation? I`m sure they have stock of them.
