    GameCube component cable.

I've been looking at this http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...oducts_id=1468&& and was just wondering how you got sound from it as it only has the three video cables shown? I presume you need to leave your analogue lead connected at the same time to get sound through the A.V. connection.

Can anyone who owns one or has used one in the past please confirm or deny this.

I have the modified VGA cable and yes, you do need to leave the analogue cable in to get sound.

        Modified VGA cable?

I've had a hard time finding a component cable and I believe a Japanese D-Terminal GC cable can be modified (can't find those either) but what is the modified VGA cable?

It's a Japanese digital video cable that's been modified to provide VGA. I bought from someone off here (forum member: Ince), who bought it from someone else here.

It looks great on my monitor at 480p. I've been playing RE:4 and it's lovely.
