Windows Media Connect & 360

Has anyone tried this out? I have my 360 wired to my router and laptop wireless. How do I stream stuff from the laptop?

I have WMC installed and running, but when I search for computers on the 360, it can't find any.

Anyone care to guide me through how to get it working?

You need all the latest updates on your MCE PC, and you need to go to www.xbox.com/pcsetup and download the thing and follow the instructions there.

I don't have Media Center Edition so I'm using Media Connect (for XP). All it says on the site is to have the program running on the PC/laptop, and then search on the 360.

I found it to be pretty useless though, hardly played any of my media files, MCE gives you added functionality.

Just realised I didn't have Zonealarm running, as always when I try doing something with my network. Well its all working now.
