    Advice on a sweet setup

I'm startin to build up a super sweet setup for my games and movies but not sure what to get. i've started off with a pair of B&W 602S3 speakers bi wired into a marantz 6.1 surround amp. Im lookin for a good pair of rears/centre sub to replace my current yamaha VS10 surround sound system. Also i wanna get a new tv. Currently got a 21" toshiba tv but im thinkin of a 32" crt maybe a 36 if i can get it through the door. I wouldnt mind a plasma but i've been told for games and films you'll get a better picture on CRT cuz of the refresh rates or summit. So if someone could reccomend some good audio equipment and a nice tv (prices too please) then that be a gr8 help.

    ahh Bowers & Wilkins eh

try not to mix makes of speakers so get B&W Rears, Centre & sub to match.
so that would be DM600 (?100) or DM601 (?125) for the rears.
LCR 60 for the centre (?200)
    and a ASW 600 sub. (?400)
    approx price's

if your looking for a telly, you can get a Toshiba 36" which does progressive scan for around ?1500-1600. so opt for that if you don't want plasma.

Definitely get the same centre and try an keep the surrounds b&W too.
Wouldnt worry too much about the sub being from the same manufacture, I still love Rel subs as I tend to think they are sweeter with music, the S series not the Q series.

If you have the money go for a plasma, panasonic 5 series, or the pionner 43", both these are excellent and the only way you are going to get hi-def capabale display with out going down the projector route.

spend a bit of time on www.avforums.com and read up about them, take what is said with a pinch of salt, if someone has just spent ?5k on kit I garuntee it will be the best thing since sliced bread, or if it develpos a fault it will be a pile of **** and sound worse than the ghetto blaster they got in 1983.
But it is good for seeing if it will do what you need, ultimately you need to see a display device, and as you have already bought the B&W's I would stick with them, they are wicked speakers and will handle a few stages of upgrades on the amplification side.
