    AV Control Centre Question

Having gotten fed up of low quality Vivanco RGB scart switcher boxes (and the picture quality loss they provide... i seem to get a 'patchwork effect' on bright colours going through RGB), i've decided to upgrade to something a bit better. I hear the Joytech AV Control Centre range are very good, and have this 'picture signal regulator' technology thingamyjig in them. Looking on Play.com however there seems to be a big price difference between the first edition of the control centre http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...k/Product.html and the newer one http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...k/Product.html
I'm basically after the best picture quality available, and not overly fussed about the extra connection options the new one gives.
So has anyone had any experience/knowledge on these and as to whether the newer one is worth the extra money, and whether or not it provides a better picture?
    Any help appreciated

I have one and it work fine but not good enough for component switcher for me. (I just use it for optical switcher)

Cheers Legendary, but i'm more interested in the RGB Scart side of things. Anybody?

I have the first model and I don't have any issues with picture quality through RGB. The only negitive point I have is the remote - it's smaller than a credit card and I'm always losing it because of that. It fits in very well if your AV stuff is black too.
