My Bookmarks Have Disappeared - Help!!

About 10 minutes ago i had a BSOD (first one in months btw).

Anyway, i had to reset the PC of course and everything seemed ok once it re-booted. That is until i opened my internet broswer (Firefox) and noticed that all my bookmarks have disappeared. If i only had a few websites bookmarked it wouldn't bother me but i think i probably had over 100.

Have they gone forever? Anyway of getting them back?

Firefox automatically backs mine up every day (just for the last five days), mine are here:

C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\qkp1f957.default\boo kmarkbackups

guess yours should be somewhere similar ?

Nope, i haven't got any backups.

Just checked and it seems i was using an old 1.5 beta version of the browser. Just plain forgot to update. Maybe this version didn't have the automatic backups. Oops!! Will get the latest version now.

Never mind. I'm sure if it was THAT important to me i'll remember it anyway.

Don't forget to check your history, obviously that will show all the ones you've visited in the last x days.

Depending on the firewall you have it might have a log of the sites you visited recently too.
