They are built in,not just a set of cables packaged with it. There was a slight revision at some point.

The two designs are radically different. The top one is the original design (no longer available) which also included a flimsy set of cables (which of course can be replaced), the bottom one is the redesigned model where the cables are part of build.

yeah, I just re-read it as I was hitting the Post button. DOH!

The latter design is of a much better build quality. I have two of the original design and the cables supplied were so thin that I managed to split them in half when they were accidentially rubbed over the edge of my desk. Replace the cables if you buy the old pack.

Ahh, well at least I was half right. The one I got when I got a plasma screen was the top one, with the cables that can be swapped. My bad, as it looks like the bottom one.
