Anyone know much about these? I had one back in the day. It came in the same gold box as the JPN one, but had English instructions. The best thing about it was that it played US games with no converter. I found this out by accident one day after I booted up Virtual On and realised I had forgot to put the converter in and yet the game was still running. I've never come across another and have never seen it written about.

I've got one but never knew it plays US games with no converter!
Never tried it. I've always liked the colour even though a lot of people seem to prefer the white.

some US games have no region lock, ive noticed this, i have a Jap saturn 1st gen and it plays certain US games fine. One that pops in me head is Dark Saviour.
As far as i know Asian Saturns are the same as Jap one except they run on UK power supplies.

Well funnily enough Dark Saviour was the other US game that I owned. This one had a 100v PSU, but was deffo Asian due to the English text on the box and manual.Kept you waiting, huh?Comment
