    Afterburning an oldskool GBA?

i'd like a backlight GBA but am not really interested in the SP (plus i don't really wanna have to spend so much), i have a pink see-through GBA and think it'd look really cool with the light behind it...

so the question, where can i get it done at nowadays?

    thanks!

got mine done at www.portablegamer.co.uk and its still great a year or so down the line. I actually prefer it to my plat sp which im now trying to sell due to me preferring my old gba.

I'd recommend them aswell, I bought a kit off them and fitted it myself.

Self install is a harrowing experience, so best to get it done professionally

Yes extremely happy, its how the GBA should have been. I cant get used to the SP so my black gba afterburned gba is being kept while im selling my sp.

Yep, got mine done there recently on the advice of Kingmike and their work really is good, I was expecting a bit of dust beneath the screen despite their promises of 'clean room conditions' but there wasn't a trace - sterling work.

The dimmer chip is pretty cool too if you want to splash out the extra ?10.

i got an afterburner and attempted to do it myself and screwed it up - it work but there is a loose wire and now i have dust under the screen

personally i would recommend getting someone who knows what they are doing to sort it
