i'm just very confused - looking at the xb live homepage they mention that a direct set up is possible. My pc is so antiquated I think that it's a mistake linking it up to my broadband and xb...............ARRGGGGHH

well you can set it up with a direct connection or use a router so that your pc and xbox can be connected to your broadband without having to change the cable over from your xbox to your pc
