Gameplay.co.uk - good or bad!?

This isn't strictly 'import related' but I couldn't think where else to post it?

Anyway Gameplay.co.uk ------ do they EVER answer emails?!

I've got a pre-order with them for a Lite and I emailed them last week asking for a little clarification on the shipping arrangments but I STILL haven't recieved a reply.

Whats the forums opinion on this company? I only went with them cos I'd heard good things occasionally but on this form I'm not sure I made the correct choice?

Best of the big UK game retailers I reckon. You've got nothing to fear, if they get stock, you'll get it launch day or before.

best UK online store yes, 90% of games arrive day before release (if you pay the extra for first class post), take it you know they're owned by GAME now.

Gameplay.co.uk are my first choice when ordering online...

The live person chat feature they have under the help section of their website is brilliant, saves phone calls and you can sort everything out right there and then online.

Agreed with everyone else, I usually pre-order any PAL games I want on release day from them and they've almost always delivered a day before the actual release date. I only ever opt for other online retailers if they have the games for cheaper.

I recommend them as well. If you aren't getting a response to your email call them, I've found their customer support excellent.

Cool, it's all good then.

I'm just a bit concerned about getting my lite on launch day as I'm going away later in the day so I really want it on the 23rd itself.

I don't want to be regretting placing a pre-order with gameplay when I could have placed one at a store. Which I did't do because it would have been a a stress finding the time to pick it up on the day.

Anyway fingers crossed. Hopefully the news of the US date being broken points to the same for the UK.

I've ordered many a game from gameplay, and i have been very happy with their services.

Every game that i have preordered from them has arrived the day before release!

You should just ring them or use the online support tab (chat program), they don't seem to be to fussed with emails. TBH the other methods are much more effecient for all.

As with most people here, I have had nothing but good service from them, I even managed to get the collectors edition of Guild Wars Factions sent on the morning it was released and arrived the next day, when most other places didn't even have stock of it.
