Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP 24"

Toying with the idea of buying one of these, would love the additional real estate that 1900 x 1200 would give, and I wouldnt want two monitors so although thats a cheaper option, Im not really interested in it.



Wondered if any of you guys have one, and any thoughts on it?

I have a Geforce 7800GTX card and a Athlon 64 3500 CPU w/ 2GB ram, would this likely cope with say, HL2 Ep1, at 1900* res? My card supports 1920 x 1200 so I guess its down to whether or not it has enough clout to run reasonable detail at that res.

I have no idea about that monitor but I've got a 1920*1200 res laptop with a 6800 Go and Half Life 2 ran no problems at that res.

Should be fine, although the newest games would be pushing it to its limit (Enter SLI madness).

Bet that monitor is awesome for 2D use.

Yeah I've got one. Actually I think I have the previous 24" model they did. Same res though.

Its fantastic. Great picture. Bright. Fantastic contrast. No ghosting. Would get a very high recommendation from me!

If i were you i'd hold on for a moment with that one. I've been waiting for it for ages and on release there's a few problems with it - text blurring and banding. Dell are on the case and a new firmware has been released for it.
