    Quick Freeloader Compatibility Question

Will a Euro 1.06b one sold in UK work on an NTSC-J (Panasaonic Q) or bogstandard NTSC-U machine?

    Please and thankyou =)

(did a search saw nothing, sorry if this was already answered as i think it likely was)

probably, if it doesn't just sell it on ebay, doubt you will lose anything

I have a 1,06 Freeloader and use it to run Pal games on my U.S machine with no probs

In my experience, FL 1.06B is much better than 1.06b when it comes to playing PAL games on an NTSC console. Both will work well though for playing NTSC games on a PAL console.

thanks guys, but what i was really needing to know - and forgot to mention, my bad - was that I will be using this primarily to play US/Canada games on my JP Q machine.

Ok for this from anyone's experience?

Isn't it weird that some games work and some don't. You would have thought either they all would work (per region) or not. Unless I'm missing something drastic!!

I remember when the freeloader first came out and Resident Evil didn't work for it. Oh the good old days!!

Just as a note - Freeloader from UK wil work fine on JPN GC to load other region games. I am using it to load UC NTSC games on my Panasonic Q - have a vanilla platinum GC but long abandoned since pickign up the Q for 178000 Y =)

Save dme a lot of money, only 7.50 shipped to canada. Case says 'will ONLY work with PAL GCs/PAL TVs'...? Do not know why. Then again my 32" LCD HDTV plays PAL games in PAL output fine. This may be why.

I was thinking the same thing. My mate picked one up in Kyoto for ?18,000 (?85).

There was a really good list somewhere on the internet, but it's been so long since I used freeloader that I can't link you to it. Worth looking for, though.

Has anyone had Megaman X Collection working on a UK cube?

Just get a blank screen and nothing else. Am using v 1.4 if that is of relevance?

Just so you know, you can send your 1.4 to Datel for a free copy of 1.6B (or b, whichever is newer).
