SCPH-50000 PS2 to be released in UK or US?

Hi,

I would like one of these new PS2's and was wondering if there are any plans to release them outside of Japan. I am off to the US next month for my vacation do they sell them there yet?

yeah it is out in the US soon, that is why they chopped the price of the current unit a bit.

However I think it is august that it is due.
