i ordered ?28 worth of stuff from them and got stung for ?8 , wont be using them again they put a big sticker on the package with the total cost on it. First time customs have caught me in 2 yrs of importing ft:

If it's over approx. ?18 then you'll get stung for customs I'm afraid.

I'm pretty sure that DHL don't want paying upon delivery though. iirc they'll send out an invoice a couple of weeks afterward which could be a prob if you're away for a while....

They didn't used to. I tend to avoid them for anything expensive nowadays.

What you have to understand is this isn't there fault. If you were to buy over eighteen quids worth of stuff from anywhere outside of Europe you're likely to get a charge. It's not like Lik-Sang are making any extra money from you, it's totally external.

It's a percentage of cost but i'm not sure what.

I know its not the companys fault , but now use someone like yesasia who not only give free shipping but pay any VAT duty . Getting stung just annoyed me as they included the shipping cost to the cost of the goods on the sticker outside and it took 3 and a half weeks to arrive.

I think the charge for VAT and Duty is around 23%.

Yes-Asia seem to be going from strength to strength as they now do American games and DVD's. I pre-ordered an American PS2 from them as the price was lower than VG+ and then there was no delivery charge to worry about. I shall also be checking them for boxsets of DVD's as Veronica Mars Season 2 is due out at the end of August and up until now CD-Wow was the only Duty-free choice. A bit nearer the time I will check to see who of the two is cheaper before pre-ordering.
