am i the only one who felt the ashley bits ruined the game a little especialyl being ashley but even protecting her was a bitch

Yup... one of the longer games I've played in a while. Took me 26 hours the first time through. Not that I'm complaining... loved it throughout.

In fact, started it for the third time today. Excellent fun, although I'm not too keen on traversing through some of the areas again (e.g. the prison area in the castle or the sewers).

Yeah im loving it, not normally my type of game but im really getting into it.

Once its completed do you get anything? Any bonus items or what have you.

Yeah, not generally my preferred genre either (survival horror), but this is one hell of an exception.

Once you complete it you can buy the chicago typewriter and infinite rocket launcher from the merchant. They cost a mil each though, so I was only able to get both of them towards the end of my second playthrough.

It sucks that you can't carry over your items from Normal mode to Professional mode. I can't be bothered to play the game on Pro mode twice just to be able to gun down the bastards with a typewriter or the infinite launcher, when I've already passed the game twice on normal, so I'm playing my third time on normal now.

Then again, you do get the laser cannon if you complete the game on Pro mode (if you've got the ps2 version), so maybe that might be worth it.

Oh, once you complete the game once, you'll also unlock two special costumes.
