    qustion about cache

    just about to get a new laptop which has 1gb ram but only 128 cashe is this a problem. i will use laptop for general purposes text files, net, downloadign etc btw its a meida centre laptop

    1MB Ram is your biggest problem, I doubt you would be able to load anything onto it!

            Its to do with the Processor itself, It means it has a level 1 cache size of 128KB, which is memory located on the CPU itself so it can transfer recently used data faster.

            So to summarise, its not too low, but its definitely not a high amount, but thats fine since y ou wont be using it for loads of mental programs and games etc.

                  haha ye o well maybe i could go currys but i have my student card which gives me 10% off but not sure if it works on laptops does anyone know if the ucas card works on laptops thanks
