Shenmue questions?

Uming and ahing about whether to sell my pal Shenmue's as i have never played it,but have the first US version aswell.

Is there any difference between Pal and US,that should make me hang on to the Pal ones?

Don't think so, but if you have both PAL version you can carry over your save file from part 1 to part 2. And didn't the PAL version come in a nicer box?

Shenmue 2 didn't have **** english voices, only **** japanese ones.

I thought the terrible English voices in the PAL Shenmue (and PAL Shenmue 2 on Xbox) were fantastic, great fun Nothing can take away from that fantastic story though, not even the world's worst voice acting.

You lose all your money at the start but if you buy a ton of lighters you can recoup it at the pawnshop.

Shenmue one is brilliant, not only is the game itself amazing but the memories make it even more special.

Having said that, I would easily buy your copy of Shenmue from you to ease the decision...

Nowadays there's a patched version of Shenmue 2 available from Japanese to English. Voices are taken from the Xbox version and only disc 1 is patched atm. I just wish they would fix the Xbox version to Japanese tbh!!
