DS Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow language barrier?

Does this title require reading a lot of text? I've seen the JPN one for ?6 in a local store and I figured I'd pick it up. I had a JPN SOTN back in the day and it got very hard, very fast as I couldn't read anything. I don't fancy a repeat performance.

Yeah, they're the same width as Japanese ones but obviously in English. I don't know why they have those stupid UK boxes either; I avoid them where possible unless I see a really good UK bargain. Why are the boxes fatter than PSP game cases when the actual games are much smaller?

I gave up caring about fat boxes, but yer they take up more space.

they are fat so they fit the euro manuals (more languages eh)

hence the delays too, translation to all those euro languages etc

it annoys me when you wait 3 months for the 'pal' version and then its got german text all over the cart.. I mean.. yeah.
