Star Ocean Till the End of time Pal glitch

for ppl who have the pal version, does the loading time before battles commence seem slow to you or some areas load longer than others for no reason? it does that on mine for some reason Disc is clean so i know thats not the problem... then again it was another shoddy eu port with the 50hz borders

i set the options in widescreen mode, i wonder if thats the problem?
