Anyone ever used www.japanpa.com? Are they any good for delivery, customs, etc.

i havent used them for a long time, but in the past they always seemed good until you factor in the postage. so they werent always as cheap as it seemed at first.
they might have changed that now though

deilvery and customs seemed about the same as play asia to me...about a week and not getting stung even though i perhaps should be

I had good service from them when they had Ouenden on sale.

But their site seems to be down more than up.

No, it's still the same. Postage is pretty damn expensive, plus they charge you in Euros, and also add 4% for Paypal payments, so unless you actually have some Euros in your paypal account, you've effectively got two extra charges on top.

I purchased some games earlier that came to about ?51. Ended up at ?68 by the time the currency conversion, 4% and shipping (EMS, admitedly) had been factored-in. Was still a good deal for what I ordered though.

You can ask them to mark down the value of the package and they'll do it.

i bought a game from them today.

the game was ?15.88, the total was just under ?22 with cheapest shipping via paypal.

Yeah, i got to checkout and saw the frankly insane postage, compared to Play-asias. Still, nice to know that if they have a decent sale on or something the items will arive and their not shady characters.

I've used them for DS accessories that no one else sells. Service seemed reliable to me.

Yes, postage costs are high, but you have to keep in mind that they send stuff via Global Priority wich takes about 4 to 5 days to Europe. Much quicker than the standard airmail Play-Asia uses.
