Windows 95 Password help

recently we were given a P.C that (unfortunetly) is running 95 it is also locked via password that the previous owner does not know.
does anyone know if there is any way i can reboot it or somthing?
it wouldent matter if we lost installed stuff or anything

If it's a windows password set, get to a DOS prompt previous to Win95 booting (ie, use a boot disk or select Boot to Command Prompt from the initial boot menu) and delete the *.pwd files in the c:\windows dir.

If it's a bios (ie, power on) password, try whipping out the lithium battery on the motherboard for a while, which will (hopefully) result in the cmos settings being wiped.
