Weird, but it looks like the UK version of the DG834Gv3 runs firmware version 4.01.06

Can you confirm yours runs that?

yep the bottem says v3 its just the one thats in the argos book you think if i tried the v2 it would work?

I suggest you contact netgear customer services about the problem.

Earlier firmware versions for older models aren't going to work on yours.

ye looks like i will have to and the firmware version its running is 6.01.00.12
