    Movietyme problem

    Hi

Has anyone ordered Point Blank from Movietyme AND received it?

I placed an order last Wednesday, which was shipped on Friday by Recorded delivery. As of yet, it hasn't arrived, so I'm presuming it's lost in the post - but MT haven't answered my email asking when it shipped and where from.

If the game shipped last Friday, by recorded delivery, surely it should have been here by now?

    Thanks
    Tony

Was it definitely recorded delivery? I thought the only options they gave you were free standard delivery or Special Delivery at extra cost.

Royal Mail won't consider a 1st class item missing until at least 15 working days have passed & so I don't think Movietyme will be able to do anything until then:

Last game I ordered from them took just under 3 weeks to arrive so yours may just still be in-transit.

Their customer services are pretty slow replying to e-mails (approx. 2-3 days) but they do usually get back to you.

i dont think Movietyme send anything by recorded post

it arrived the usual method but now they are printing

This parcel is being tracked by royal mail on the front of it

As far as I'm aware, Movietyme get your items sent over from the US after you order, then re-ship from within the UK, so the email saying your item was shipped means it has left the warehouse in the US, and you usually have to wait another 7-10 days for it to turn up.

Occasionally an order will come through much quicker, and presumably this is when they have spare stock in the UK.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong please

Yep, that's pretty much it. Preorders usually take about a week to come through, as they're shipped from the US.

Well, I payed ?1 extra for recorded delivery, so they'd better use it! I think (hope) that the postie tried to deliver it yesterday, as i came home to find a card on the mat...so hopefully panic over.

                Cheers for the advice guys.
