    PSP charging in Europe

Right, so I have a US PSP which came with a plug adapter so I can charge it here in UK plugs (i.e. US 2 pin to UK 3 pin converter -).

Anyway, I'm off to Barcelona, Spain at the end of the month and was wondering if I'll need another adapter (i.e. US 2 pin - UK 3 pin - Euro 2 pin) so I can charge it there or if I can stick the US 2 pinned plug straight in (does this plug also have a step down converter in it?).

    Any ideas?

Oh yeah, and probably a stupid question, but PSP's are alright to play/watch/use on the actual plane, yeah?

    Cheers guys!

While we are all asking questions, I am taking a PSP from the UK to the US (I assume a standard worldwide travel plug is all I need.)

Again the plane question comes up, I take it if we switch off the wireless they won't have a problem.

Johnny: Does your UK adaptor just plug into the American one or is it separate? Europe is 240v like us so if that does the voltage conversion all you'll need is a UK-Europe adaptor.

Felix: Yeah, just a regular plug adaptor will work when using a UK one in the US. The only caveat is that it'll charge at half the speed, so if that bothers you you can pick up a US charger while you're over there.

Sounds fine, I will just stick it on and wait a little longer I guess, I have been told I can charge anthing that shows either 100 or 110 as the lower value and 240 as the higher on the transformer, So I guess this is true.

Yeah, that seems to be what it does. I'll try and get a pic sorted out later. So basically any UK-Euro adapter will work? My brother has one for his video camera so that should be ok, right?

Sorry for being paranoid, I just don't want my PSP fried!

Just to reiterate since I'm off at the end of next week, my PSP is American and has a stepdown converter with it which I plug into a UK plug to charge etc. So, sticking a Euro socket on the end will be fine, no matter where I am in Europe (Spain if it makes a difference but I'm certain it doesn't).

What about the DS, same deal I expect but just want to be sure. Again, I hve a US model with a 220-240 V -> 110-120 V stepdown which is actually a UK plug in itself. Just stick the Euro adapter on the end of that and I'm good to go?

Also, more on the on-plane use. Don't electronics get condensation in them? I could swear I have a cassette player from back in the day which is all clouded up since I used it while in the air. Needless to say I don't want my PSP and/or DS with a screen full of condensation!

As a final note, I'll probably take both (PSP for use on the plane for watching anime and gaming) and DS for whenever I have some free time. Would you suggest taking both or leave one at home?

Cheers guys for reading this long winded post!
