    It's artistically very good but technically just falls a bit short. Even on SD CRTs it looks grainy, and it's especially bad on an HDTV. Doesn't help that it's letterboxed (either put borders on all sides or zoom it in so that it looks really ****). I'm tempted to try out the upcoming PC version so that it can hopefully be run in proper anamorphic and at a resolution that does the graphics justice.

      The option is really only there because some older HDTVs force widescreen with a 480p signal and wouldn't let you put it in the proper 4:3 aspect ratio, or zoom. If you've got a display like that, then it's a great feature, if not, you should be running it in 4:3 or using your TV's zoom. (the PS2 doesn't do a good job)
