Best unofficial Aim client

Y'know... way of using AOL Instant Messenger without using AOL's bloated crap client.

I had been using Trillian until recently for AIM/MSN, but since I've moved to Windows Live Messenger for MSN, I'm free to explore some AIM-dedicated clients.

the only unofficial client for AIM that I know of, is gAim, which has been ported across from linux.. Though i've heard its not so great...

I use Miranda for all of my Instant messaging needs. It's a nice simple alternative with loads of customising options. Although it is more like Trillian, so proabably isn't what your looking for.
