Difference between Japanese and Asian games

    Hey,

I wondered if there's any difference between Japanese and Asian games. I never bought an Asian game myself, but I read somewhere that there was some English text in either te manual or the game? Hope someone can give me an answer because I've been thinking about this some time.

The actual game itself is no different.

What it comes down to is the packaging and instructions.

The asian box will most probably not have the JPN age rating on the front cover.
On the back of the box, The JPN one will have (near the bottom left of the back cover) for 'Japan only'
The asian version will have 'for home use only'

And in some cases the colour of the design that's on the disc may be different to the JPN version.

The asian instructions will be in three languages - Japanese/Chinese/English.

Basically it boils down to whether you are a packaging snob or not, as to which version you get.

      Thanks for the answer.

I'm not really a collector (or a package snob ) so now I know I don't have to avoid the Asian versions in the future.
