Phoenix Wright - localisation changes

I have a question that anyone who's played the original GBA version of Phoenix Wright may be able to answer for me.

It sounds stupid but I have a good reason for asking: what food did Maya like to eat in the original, before she developed a penchant for burgers? I can't help but think of Alex Kidd when I read that...

Yeah, 'burgers' sounded a little strange to me. It wasn't always like that, right?

I loaned the Japanese DS version to my brother, which he played through and when he got his US version he did say that there were some minor changes he noticed.

So if they changed/localised more the JPN English version before it hit the US I guess it is quite possible it was fully localised.

Doesn't really help with what you asked but I guess you know it was changed for sure!
