Laptop...US Power Supply to the UK?

Hi all,

I'll be studying in the 'States next year as part of my degree scheme and, naturally, am using the excuse to grab myself a shiny new laptop. I'd like to get hold of it before I go, to get everything setup 'just so' before I leave, but naturally, this leads to power supply issues. Bah.

Do any of you fine people know a (reputable) company who will ship laptops with US power supplies to the UK? Any help would be very much appreciated.

why not wait till your over there and get on then ,it will be much cheaper.

You'll find the nearly all laptops come with a PSU thats rated 100v ~ 240v.

So basically you can just get a plug convertor to change the UK 3Pin plug to a USA style 2Pin plug and you'll be ok.

Also a lot of laptops come with a PSU where the actual AC Adaptor and the Mains cable are seperate so you can just grab a mains cable in the states for a couple of dollars.
