Windows XP Pro question

When you right click on your desktop and select 'New' a bunch of programs come up like word documents, bitmap images etc. How do you customize which programs appear there? I have some I wish to put in and some I never use and wish to take out. I've always wondered how to do it...

I'm fairly sure you can do that with TweakUI - its buried somewhere on the Microsoft site, but a search of the download section should find it easily enough. You can do a bunch of other handy things with it as well, so its definitely a recommended thing in any case.

Yes you can do it with Tweakui. I think it comes as standard with XP professional but you can download an updated version from Microsoft's site.

Do Start - Run and type Tweakui

Under the Template menu you can choose what type of files that you can create.
