    PC Engine DUO R help!

Hello! I've just brought a JPN PC Engine Duo R

But im having some problems with the CD games.I've tried the two games i got with it Red ALert [cd-rom2 game] and some other title [Super CD-rom 2]

I've tried both games and i get the same error saying " Please set Disc"

The RAM light comes on,but i keep checking to see if the disc moves, and it doesn't appear to be moving at all? Is this a common fault?

Hu-Card games work fine mind.Should i send it back?

Pc Engines at times are just too confusing and bad luck with me

    cheers!

I'm no expert but it sounds like the laser/motor could be on the blink.

I'm not a PC Engine expert, by all accounts I know nothing about PC Engines, but perhaps the lens is broken? It would make sense that if the lens is broken.. it cannot detect the disc/read the disc, and therefore it does not spin?

Could perhaps be fixed with a replacement pickup? The pickup type is usually printed on the laser array.
